LOCATION
Cadiz City is located on the Northern part of the island of Negros Occidental. It's land area is 51,650 hectares and it's very nice coastal panoramic view is a perfect place to retire. It's fresh marine aquatic products as well as it's nice beaches and resorts brings more life in Cadiz.

Cadiz City is located in the Northern Part of Negros Occidental. It is
65 kilometer (40 mi) and a 1 hour car drive and 2 hours bus travel from
Bacolod City which is the Capital City of Negros Occidental.
According to the 2010 census, it has a population of 151,500 people with 22 barangays.

Cadiz City is a gateway and a premier center of agro-fishery
resources of Negros Island. The strategic location of the city with a
wide and rich island and marine resources and vast fertile agricultural
land, and the completion of the commercial port and the construction of
fish port according to our LGU's will open a new opportunity for economic growth and increase
the level of competitiveness.

The city is a major sugar-producing area. This is in turn transported to
nearby Victorias City and Sagay Sugar Central for further refining.
Another major source of livelihood is the harvest of seafood and our
city's pride of different kinds of dried fishes which is well known in
the neighboring cities and provinces as well as in other parts of the
Philippines.

We celebrated our Dinagsa Festival every year, a one week celebration which ends
and highlights every last Sunday of January in honor of our patron
Sr. Santo Niño, which was joined and witnessed not only by Cadiznons and
its neighboring cities alone, but also people from different parts of
the Philippines and of the world, and people from all walks of life.
